While participating I stumbled upon a recipe on how to make the most fluffiest vegan chocolate mousse you’ll ever eat! It’s actually super easy to make! You only need two ingredients (three if you want it a littbe bit sweeter and use sugar) which one of them being the chocolate of course. The other ingredient is very unlikely and strange, and at first I couldn’t believe this would actually work and taste great! The second ingredient is ‘Aquafaba’. Don’t know what that is, well me neither when I first saw it. But aquafaba is the name for the water that’s in your canned beans and chickpeas. Yeah that’s right, usually you throw away this water while draining your beans but you can actually make a very yummy dessert out of it!
What you’ll need for two small servings:
– ‘Aquafaba’ from one can of beans or chickpeas (I used black beans with this one
– 30 gr of vegan dark chocolate (you can also use cocoa powder but I prefer to use real chocolate)
– Sugar to make it sweeter if desired
All you need to do is pour the aquafaba in a clean bowl and whisk it up for about 10 minuted with an electric mixer (if you want to add the sugar do this before you start whisking). You can also do it by hand, but believe me you really need to whisk it for that long before it starts to get those fluffy peaks // Now melt the chocolate and carefully scoop it through the aquafaba fluff // Pour the mixture into some bowls and let it cool in the fridge for about two hours // Now enjoy and be amazing how amazing the flavour and the texture is!
