A few weeks ago I went to the second Paul’s Boutique exclusive style bloggers event (The class of 2016). This time the event wasn’t held at their HQ like last time, but at the most awesome and fitting location: The museum of bags and purses in Amsterdam!
After a lovely welcome from the Paul’s Boutique Benelux we got some very inspiring presentations from the owner of the museum (I think I’m going to search for a millionair as well to sponsor me a Chanel bag, haha!), Bol.com told us about their partnership, Jolique from Influentials network and the Paul’s Boutique London social media team. We also got to see the promo video of new F/W ’16, and I can tell you there’s some serious bagporn waiting for us next season! ;)
Then we had a little break to let all the new inspirations sink in while enjoying some small bites. There were also some opportunities to enjoy ourselves like a tour through the museum, getting our hair and make-up done, dancing on the beats from DJ Ivy-Chloe or getting a drawing from the very talented Sophie de Ruiter!
After this little break it was time for the reveal of the BIG secret of the day: The new blogger bag! Just like last year Paul’s Boutique designed a limited edition bag for us Dutch bloggers (lucky you, you can also find it HERE, but be quick because there are only a few on sale for non-bloggers! ;)
I’m totally in love with this bag! <3 I already own a backpack (Gwyneth) model from Paul’s Boutique and I totally love it! This model in combination with the cool and flashy black-white-neon palm print makes it the perfect (blogger)bag for Summer and Festivals!
But after the BIG reveal it was time for (my personal) most exciting part of the day: A interview with THE Paul (read: Paul Slade, Creativer Director and Founder) from Paul’s Boutique! Remember my flashtrip to London back in December? I was actually supposed to meet Paul that day, but because we had the trip so close to Christmas he was very busy with a) the new collection, b) the sale season about to hit the stores and c) with the family. So this time I was one of the lucky few who got to meet him. I asked him all kinds of questions, like how Paul’s Boutique started, who is your favourite blogger, which Paul’s Boutique bag is your favourite, his opinion on fast fashion and where he gets his inspiration from?
If you’re curious for Paul’s answers and want a little impression about the event just check out my video/vlog below. Let me know what you think! :)
Lots of love and have a nice day! ♥
