Today I want to show you the outfit I wore on New Year’s Eve! It’s a special dress because it’s from a collaboration with one of my favourite Dutch designers Dorhout Mees and clothing store Shoeby. Esther (Dorhout Mees) is a Dutch designer that has a very interesting view on fashion. I’m a big fan of the wearable art she makes and the beautiful things she gets inspired from (example: the difference between the molecule structures of tears of joy and tears of sorrow). I was so excited when I heard the news Esther did a collaboration with Shoeby! Now her beautiful designs are available for everyone, since the prices are very reasonable for a designerdress (the quality of the fabrics is amazing!) I wish I could have bought all the dresses from the collection because I loved them all! But in the end I chose this ‘Anais’ dress. In my opinion this dress is a perfect reflection of Esther’s work (the plicate fabric, sheer sleeves and kimono belt)
I shot these pictures at the Ibis hotel Scheveningen, because that’s the hotel I spent my New Year’s Eve in. But more about that tomorrow ;)
