Amsterdam Fashionweek is a wrap! I fully enjoyed the last 5 days but it was pretty exhausting to.. Waking up early for the shows and staying up till almost 3 AM to edit the pictures, so I'm actually a bit glad this fashion madness is over :p
Today I will show you the pictures of the show of the third day of AFW. On that day I went to the shows of Michelangelo Winklaar, David Paulus, Gsus Industries, Dido Yland, Allan Vos, Sjaak Hullekes, Sophie#1234567+, Edwin Oudshoorn and Muchachomalo (yes, the underwear brand).
Click on 'Read More' for my picture overload + some men candy of the Muchachomalo show ;p.
First of all the show of Michelangelo Winklaar. The show was very dark and the models were wearing gorgeous clothing and masks in front of their mouth in the shape of a black rose. It kinda reminded me of those Japanese horror movies.
After Michelangelo it was time for the show of David Paulus. His collection was inspired by the nutcracker. The show started with a ballerina dancing to the nutcracker theme, after that the models started walking on the catwalk in his designs. The show ended with two trumpet players.
Gsus industries. This show was just what you expect from Gsus, nice and basic clothing. Nothing special really. I really liked the coats and quilted sweaters. Another fun fact is that they had a 'matching' outfit for the male and female models, not the same but with some matching detail.
Show show of Dido Yland wasn't my cup of tea really.Very minimal designs with lots of colour. I do liked the applications on the leggings.
The show of Allan Vos was very different then his show of last year. I really liked the fact that he wanted to step men's fashion up a bit by breaking some boundaries, like male skirts.
The show of Sjaak Hullekes was what I expected of him. Classic and casual designs with a perfect fit and high quality fabrics. Definitely something I would want to see my future boyfriend wearing :p
The show of Sophie#1234567+ had classic but edgy designs. I fell in love with the jacket/backpack and the waffle hair, I think that will be a big trend next summer.
The show of Edwin Oudshoorn was truly a fairytale, the dresses were just breathtaking. I really liked it that his designs told a story. The show started with a nice an quit spring morning with light dresses, but then it started to rain and the dresses became darker. But at the end the weather cleared up and the dresses became lighter again.
The last show of the day was the show of Muchachomalo, the underwear brand. I was thinking how can a underwear brand produce a fashionweek worthy catwalk show? Only Victoria's Secret can get away with that right? And that half was true. The female models were Ok, I really liked how they styled their models besides the underwear. But the male models were just showing of their (yummy) bodies, which is not a bad thing because I did enjoyed it :p But it was not something I expected from Fashionweek.
I hoped you liked these pictures.
Sorry for the super pictures overload but I just couldn't choose between all the pictures I took!
Lots of love and have a nice day! ♥
